Busy family? Wild and a bit chaotic at times? Worried about your session because your kids never sit still? That is all music to my ears! This is your family lifestyle right now, and you are asking me to preserve this moment in time for you the way that it is. If I try to wrangle three toddlers all into posing and fake smiling for the camera, a lot of the times it will look forced, and let's face it--it's hard! I love when families "warn" me of chaos, and one of the reasons that I enjoy doing outdoor sessions in nature is because of my style of photography. I don't want the kids to just stand there and say cheese or want to sit on a blanket (other than the quick posed "portrait" shots we get at the beginning of the session); I want them to run about, explore, pick up rocks/sticks/flowers, etc. I want you to laugh and walk together, play and hold hands, interact. This is exactly how I am able to capture natural personalities and get those genuine emotions, which I know is what you want. Chaos is just another word for active, and I can promise you, active families are my favorites!
Speaking of favorites, how could I possibly pick only a handful from this gorgeous session? They were so lovely, the kids so sweet and fun, and we had a blast! There was no shortage of energy here, and I was happy to chase them all as they climbed and played, snuggled, and created a bunch of magic!
