Winter Family Session | Gig Harbor Family Photographer

This sweet family braved the January near-freezing temps to get out and play together for our session. Mom's burgundy velvet dress not only was soo beautiful, but it was perfect against the winter trees and the red in the bushes. I'm so obsessed with it. We were inititally hoping for fog to help with that PNW winter vibe that Gig Harbor often gets during winter, but once we were there and saw how gorgeous the ground cover was that complimented her dress, and how the trees popped in the background, we were happy it was a crisp and clear morning.

I love it when I see siblings naturally kind to one another, and these two were the sweetest. Their smiles are so genuine, and honestly, show up as such in the photos--so much joy just melts my heart and reinforces my love for capturing these types of images.
